Sketches

A Day or Two at the Museum

Sometimes I like to go to the museum at lunch and sketch me some bones. Trying to capture the shape of the light on the fly is always good exercise. Sometimes it’s the best to zen and just pull out the analog markers and pencils.

Pencil sketch of Ottawa music

This is a rough for the Ottawa music scene for a T-shirt that didn’t happen quite the way I planned, but what the heck.

Something I Found in the Basement

Wow. Long time ago in a gallery, far far away…. Actually stuck in the bottom of an old portfolio from Sheridan College. About 5 B.C. [Before Children] and 11 B.C. [Before Computers]

Conté on newsprint. 1978 [stop laughing]
